Wise Old Gnome

New photos - old friend ^^ I made this doll when I was about 16, so he is a good few years old now! He is completely my own original design and pattern. I remember quite clearly that he came to me in a dream - and I spent the whole weekend making him! His body is hand-dyed cotton (altho not by me), shirt is pure silk, pants linen, vest, hat and shoes soft suede. The jewellery is copper wire with little gemstones (yes I made the jewellery too!). Unfortunately he is looking a little bit grubby from being in a storage box for a while He needs a new shirt so I might do some restoration in the future.

I wanted to post pics of a couple of my older dolls so you can see I'm not a 'newbie' to doll/plush making! Just had a bit of a break
